What this internship is about
This role is for someone interested in technical sales, operations, and how large-scale staffing actually works in the hospitality and security industries. HYRE provides scheduling and workforce-management software used in high-volume, high-pressure environments where shifts, compliance, and real-time changes matter.
This is not cold-calling for a generic SaaS product. You’ll be learning how to sell software by understanding operations first — how staffing agencies work, where they break, and how technology solves those problems.
There is real commission upside tied to performance.
What you’ll work on
Learning how temp staffing operates in hospitality and security environments
Understanding client pain points around scheduling, compliance, and fulfillment
Supporting sales conversations and product demos
Helping qualify leads and map operational needs to product features
Working closely with product and operations to refine sales messaging
Participating in deal cycles from first contact to close
Compensation
Internship base (if applicable) plus generous commissions on closed deals
Commissions are tied directly to revenue generated — no artificial caps
Suggested qualifications
Interest in sales, business development, or entrepreneurship
Comfortable talking to people and asking good questions
Technically curious — able to understand how software actually works
Strong communication skills (written and verbal)
Prior sales experience is helpful but not required
